We are seeking a talented and motivated IT Solutions Specialist to join our team at the Somerset East branch. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring the seamless integration and maintenance of IT systems that support our auditing services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, software solutions, and a keen understanding of the unique needs of an auditing firm.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of GBG Group's auditing operations.
- Provide technical support and training to staff, ensuring efficient use of IT resources.
- Manage and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their IT requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices in IT solutions relevant to the auditing industry.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT solutions implementation and support, preferably within an auditing or financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of network management, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in various software applications and tools used in auditing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent are advantageous.
