Joined the industry in 2012

 is our resident financial planner in Graaff-Reinet who joined the industry in 2012 as a Tied-Adviser with Old Mutual PFA, he later expanded his horizon when he joined Sanlam as a representative at their flagship BlueStar practice. During this time, he completed his regulatory examination and met all the necessary fit and proper industry requirements. After moving to Graaff-Reinet to pursue the tranquil “platteland” lifestyle in 2016 he left the industry but later joined GBG in 2020 where he now heads the broker division for the Graaff-Reinet branch. Floris is passionate about financial planning and through his client centric approach relishes the positive impact it can have on individuals and businesses alike. He has honed his skills as an investment specialist, with broad-based knowledge of financial markets and economics and he cherishes the opportunity to deliver bespoke solutions for clients. Floris is a proud member of the Financial Planning Institute of South Africa and holds his professional designation with the South African Qualification Authority registered professional body. He is also currently continuing his studies to obtain his Post Graduate degree in Financial Planning to pursue the much sought after designation of Certified Financial Planner®. Floris enjoys contributing to his community in any way possible and when outside the office he relishes time on the Golf course.
