Joined the industry in 1993

Ralie was born in Colesberg and matriculated in Burgersdorp in 1989. In the following year she embarked on her tertiary education and enrolled at the University of Orange Free State where she completed her B. Comm degree in 1992, and her B. Comm (Hons) degree the year thereafter. She completed her articles at Gerber Botha & Gowar (Cradock) Inc. in 1996. During this period she successfully passed her qualifying examinations and was accepted as a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. In 1999 she was appointed as director in Gerber Botha & Gowar and took the reins at the Graaff-Reinet Practice. Ralie is a member of the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors and practices as a chartered accountant and registered auditor. She is also a long standing member of various Municipal Audit Committees. She enjoys spending time with her family and are involved in various community development projects. She also enjoys cultural activities, camping and reading.
